Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has finally come out and revealed who the mystery woman is in the first trailer of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Fans have been speculating for quite some time, but only a few make much sense.

According to Feige in an interview with Cinema Blend, the mystery woman is a nobody. She's just an object that pops up in Thor's dream. The marketing team chose to use it because the scenery looked cool.

"That was just the imagery. That was just interesting imagery as part of a dream sequence ... It was part of when Thor was looking around at the oddity and the strangeness happening and it was just an image marketing grabbed."

Kevin Feige also admits that he loves to mess around with fans now and again, but this mystery woman should not be seen as such. It is just a dream sequence and nothing more.

"Sometimes, not in that case. In that case it was just an arresting image which seemed interesting and when marketing presented it to us, we said, 'Oh yeah, cool! This is great! Amazing, great work.' And then it started to go out and I thought, 'People are going to read into all this stuff.'"

Before this revelation, we thought this woman would be the sister of Black Panther, who is known as Shuri. After all, Black Panther's homeland is expected to feature in Age of Ultron, so it is not a bad guess to believe this unknown woman in Thor's dream sequence could be Shuri.

At the end of the day though, fans can now rest easy as the truth has finally hit the floor.

It should be interesting to see if Shuri will make an appearance in Age of Ultron, or if Marvel plans to hold her back until the Black Panther standalone movie. Another thing, why is Thor having such a vivid dream? It would appear if he's on Asgard while this is happening, or it could be the work of Starlet Witch.
