There's nothing quite like a media meltdown on live television.

The dizzying NFL Draft coverage made NFL Network analyst Charley Casserly have just that on Monday. When asked by NFL Network colleague Dan Hellie about digging into Jameis Winston's background, Casserly became enraged on live television.

“Don’t ask me a question we haven’t talked about,” Casserly angrily barked at Hellie, upset that he brought up an unscripted question on live TV without talking about it backstage beforehand.

When Hellie tried to smooth over the situation, Casserly added to the awesomely awkward moment, asking, "Are we live? What are we doing now? Are we taping? What are we doing?"

Hellie calmly responded, "We're live," to which Casserly demanded, "Start the whole thing over!"

Hellie again brought up how a team like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, owners of the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, would begin to investigate and do their due diligence when it comes to checking Winston's background. Finally, Casserly responded, actually giving a good answer after all that meltdown. Peep the whole thing below.

Afterwards, Hellie did some damage control on Twitter.

Of course, the jokes on Twitter rolled in anyway ....
