'Destiny' Xur Location And Items For May 8-10

It's the end of the week, and that means another visit from Xur. This wasn't any regular old week, however. Bungie blew the lid off the endgame content coming in Destiny's second expansion pack, House of Wolves. Called the Prison of Elders, players will soon enter the arena to battle wave after wave of the galaxy's greatest foes.

Good thing Xur has your back. He is always packing the best exotics money can buy, and with the new expansion right around the corner, his wares should become even more interesting.

So where is the merchant hiding this week? You'll find him north of the speaker's location. Upon spawning turn left and into Tower North. You'll find Xur standing in front of a massive set of doors.

In addition to his usual wares (sparrow upgrades, heavy weapon ammo) Xur is packing some serious firepower this week in the form of the Thunderlord heavy machine gun. It's a solid choice as far as exotic heavy machine guns go, and it has been a while since we've seen this one for sale. Better scoop it up while you have the chance. You can also snag an exotic helmet engram for 23 motes of light while you're at it.
