The saga of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 2 continues, as it has become clear that the device will be receiving the update in some regions, while in others, it will not.

For months, speculation on the Internet surrounding the release of the official Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 2 centered on whether or not the device would not receive an update. The Portuguese arm of the company stated that the update is currently being finalized, while the Moroccan arm gave no time frame for its release.
