Leaked information regarding the price of the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang has the vehicle being listed at a base price of $47,870.

The information was posted in the Mustang 6G forum, with the images of the price lists reported to be taken from Facebook. The user that posted the prices on Facebook said that he received them from the Ford dealer where he has made a down payment for the highly-anticipated vehicle.

The base price of the GT350 Mustang, appearing on the price list with the 900A package code, looks to be a reasonable one, with that notion holding true for the GT350R Mustang, which appears with the 920A package code.

Customers looking to acquire the GT350R Mustang will need to add $13,500 to the base price of the vehicle, which will have the price of the track-ready sports car come up to only $61,370. This price is about $10,000 less compared to the Chevrolet Camaro Z28, which comes with similar equipment and specifications as the GT350R Mustang.

The GT350R Mustang adds a revised suspension setup and improved brakes to the base model of the vehicle. Extra weight has been removed by taking out the airconditioning system, the rear bench, the stereo, the exhaust resonators, the trunk floorboard, the tire repair kit and the rear-view camera, which makes the vehicle lighter by 130 pounds.

Other options for customers looking to acquire the base GT350 Mustang include a technology package with a suggested retail price of $7,500 and a track package with a price of $6,500. Customers looking to buy the GT350R Mustang can avail of an electronics package to be sold at $3,000, which will add back a dual-zone airconditioner to the vehicle, along with an 8-inch touchscreen panel and a seven-speaker stereo system.

For both the GT350 Mustang and the GT350R Mustang, customers can choose to purchase a painted black roof at $695, an over-the-top racing stripe at $475, a triple yellow tri-coat paint at $495 and a car cover at $375.

The destination and delivery charge for both models of the GT350 Mustang is $825.

Some less reputable dealerships may increase the price of the GT350 Mustangs though, which is something that customers should avoid.
