AT&T has hinted that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active smartphone will soon be coming to the carrier.

The hint was given through a tweet that AT&T sent out from its official account.

"Only one thing is missing from your workout. It's almost time to activate your full power," said AT&T's tweet, with the keyword being "activate" as that could be a play on the Active portion of the upcoming smartphone's name.

The tweet is accompanied by an image of a woman seemingly in workout clothes, with the phone that she is holding blocked by an orange shape. The image also comes with the caption of "Ready... Set..." which would hint that the Galaxy S6 Active is very near its launch date for AT&T, if the announcement of the smartphone is really what the tweet is all about.

Many things have been spoiled regarding the Galaxy S6 Active, with Samsung having just confirmed the specifications for the device on the company's United States website.

According to the confirmation, which was accidental and was taken down immediately, the Galaxy S6 Active will have a 5.1-inch quad-HD Super AMOLED display at 2,560 x 1,440 resolution, which is similar to that of the other versions of Samsung's current flagship devices, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. It will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop and will pack a non-removable 2,550mAh battery.

The smartphone will be powered by the octa-core Exynos 7420 processor of Samsung with RAM of 3GB. The device will have internal storage of 32GB, but similar to that of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, it will have no expandable memory option according to what was posted in the leak. The cameras of the Galaxy S6 Active are a rear-facing 16MP camera and a front-facing 5MP camera, also similar to the two smartphones.

The claim to fame of the Galaxy S6 Active, however, is its rugged build, with Samsung stating that it will be IP68-certified resistant to dust and water.

Before the accidental confirmation was taken down, it showed that the Galaxy S6 Active was coming to AT&T. While there was previously no clue on when the Galaxy S6 Active will be released and how much it will cost, the tweet by AT&T could signal that the smartphone is indeed coming to the market soon.
