Michael Clifford, guitarist of the Australian pop-punk band '5 Seconds of Summer,' had his fans screaming in shock as they see him trying to put out the fire that hit his hair and face by the pyrotechnics at the group's show at Wembley Arena on Saturday. A video was later on posted in social media which showed that particular moment when a flame projector hit the guitarist on the face.

The incident made the band decide to stop their gig at the arena with bandmate Ashton Irwin breaking the news to their fans.

"Michael has hurt himself so we will not be continuing the show right now. He is okay," says Irwin.

Michael had to be rushed to the hospital after the incident which left him with burns on his face. The 19-year old guitarist later on posted an image of his face wrapped in bandages after receiving treatment in the hospital.

News about the incident became a trending topic on Twitter which carried the hashtag #GETWELLSOONMICHAEL. Worried fans sent their tweets to Michael and wished for his full recovery.

Rumors are saying that bandmate Calum Hood also met an accident on stage which left him with a burn on his arm.
