The Witcher 3 patch announced lately is now live for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One consoles, bringing a slew of bug fixes and improvements.

The patch is rolling out now to the gaming consoles, aiming to fix a number of issues that have been affecting the game so far.

For instance, the gold would so far reset once it reached 65535, but the latest patch will fix this problem. Players also encountered an issue in the "Get Junior" quest when trying to interact with Roche at Oxenfurt Bridge, but the patch fixes the lack of interaction. At the same time, Geralt will not have wet clothes anymore when players leave the menu.

The patch also fixes the "Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear" crypt gate issue, as well as the endless loading screen that appeared during the "Lord of Undvik" quest, when fighting the Ice Giant. Moreover, players will no longer see the Potion of Clearance automatically loaded in the quick slot when they run out of edibles, and the patch also fixes the issue with the Potion of Clearance not properly removing some skills.

Lastly, the new Witcher 3 patch will also fix the issue with Mutagen bonuses that didn't save properly, and will also add various improvements to gameplay stability and user interface (UI).

The patch should significantly improve the Witcher 3 experience, fixing the most pressing issues that have marred the experience for some. If this patch doesn't seem sufficient, however, CD Projekt Red also confirmed that it's working on another "pretty big" update that will further add a "large number" of improvements to the game. The next patch should follow shortly, but no rollout date is available at this point.

For now, the Witcher 3 patch 1.05 is available for PS4 and Xbox One gamers and will mark a great improvement in the overall experience.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a widely popular open-world role-playing game (RPG), raking in impressive sales since its release last month, on May 19. The developer confirmed that it sold more than four million copies in less than two weeks, reaching an impressive milestone.
