Deals on Apple's latest iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are hard to come by, but a new deal can score you the unlocked 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus for $689 compared to Apple's current price of $749.

At Apple's WWDC 2015, the company showed off the latest versions of Mac OS X El Capitan, iOS 9, and watchOS 2, which will be released this fall as a free upgrade for current users. If you have a device that is capable of running iOS 9 and you want to try out Apple's latest and greatest mobile OS, we recently reported on how to download and install the iOS 9 Beta.

Apple is expected to announce new iPhones in September in the form of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The smartphones are widely expected to feature the same design of the current iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, and its main new feature will be the addition of Force Touch, which debuted on the Apple Watch and select Mac laptops.

If you're in the market for an unlocked phablet and would prefer it running iOS, instead of Android, you can now pick up a factory unlocked 16GB iPhone 6 Plus for $689.99, which is a nice savings over Apple's current $749 charged online and in its retail stores.

The Apple iPhone 6 Plus sports a higher resolution 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Retina Display when compared to its smaller sibling's 4.7-inch 1334 x 750 Retina display. Another key area where the iPhone 6 Plus stands out from the iPhone 6 is in its camera technology. The iPhone 6 Plus ships with a high-end 8-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), which allows for sharper images because OIS can detect when a user's hand shakes and counteracts that to reduce blur.

The phablet ships with 16GB of internal storage and is GSM factory unlocked, which means it will work on AT&T and T-Mobile's networks.

The unlocked iPhone 6 Plus is on sale for $689.99 for a limited time and also includes free economy shipping.
