As was previously announced, Batman: Arkham Knight for PC was so riddled with problems that Warner Bros. voluntarily pulled the title off Steam and offered refunds to anyone who already bought the bug-filled game. However, for those who are patient enough to give the game another chance when it is mended, there is redemption for it yet!

Turns out, the PC version of the game is the only one with a game mod created so that you can play, not only as the Dark Knight himself, but as one of the many other recognizable characters in the city of Gotham, such as The Joker, Harley Quinn, Robin, Catwoman and many other available characters that may be considered spoilers to the main story, so we will omit mentioning them here. (We do, however, mention them at the bottom of this article for those who don't mind spoilers.) 

The unofficial game mod, which was created by Wastelander121 and MrJAG, allows users to change the playable character when playing in free roam mode.

The mod is available to download for free and the custom characters are easily accessible via Function key presses which will be listed at the end of this article for those who do not wish to read spoilers. To create the playable characters, the skins had to be based off those already existing in the game. Those who have not yet gone through the entire Batman: Arkham Knight story line may be surprised at the inclusion of some of the characters they can play in this mod.

As with any unofficial mod, always backup your game and data before attempting to install the mod and play at your own risk.

Those whose versions of Batman: Arkham Knight were fortunate enough to still be playable despite the problems it has been plagued by, you may just want to check out this mod and roam the streets of Gotham as different characters aside from the default Batman.
