One of the elements that made the Ghostbusters so memorable was their trademark look.  Their uniforms were utilitarian, and no-nonsense in the ways of busting ghosts.

Director Paul Feig of the new Ghostbusters flick has been teasing fans with news of the progress of production and he's just given us another inside look via his Twitter account - the first look at the all new uniforms that will be donned by the gals.

As fans of the original Ghostbusters, we're happy to see that the classic look of the uniforms was kept. The only noticeable additions are the orange stripes on the sleeves of the brown one-piece jumpers. The four uniforms were photographed on a hanger with the tags of the stars who will wear them in the film, which is set for release 13 months from now.

We can't wait to see Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy put on these iconic uniforms when they start getting calls to hit some ghosts with their plasma blasters!

Feig has been keeping fans in the loop on the progress of the new all-female Ghostbusters production. Filming for the movie began in Boston mid-June where some of the stars were photographed as they were filming scenes outdoors.

McCarthy and McKinnon were snapped as they seemed to be running away from something. McKinnon, although not yet wearing the Ghostbusting brown jumper, did seem to be wearing paint and slime splattered overalls - and is that a ghost trap she's carrying?

Wiig was also spotted wearing a business jacket and skirt on the set.  Could the rumors of her character being an NYU professor be true?

Although he has been teasing fans with tidbits of news about the movie's ongoing production, Feig has still been tight-lipped about the actual plot of the film.

We will have to wait until the film comes out on July 22, 2016 to find out who's gonna call these girls to get rid of some pesky ghosts in the city.
