2014 CES will accommodate more exhibitors, according to its organizer CEA, through expansion of the Eureka Park TechZone and the debut of the Eureka Park: NEXT and the Academia Tech. .

The Eureka Park TechZone, which is a dedicated area that allows budding startups and entrepreneurs to learn, connect and inspire, will expand by 30 percent to feature more than 200 exhibitors at the 2014 International CES.

Now in its third year, the Eureka Park TechZone, which will be located on level one of The Venetian, will span more than 2,000 square meters.

2014 CES will also witness the launch of the Eureka Park: NEXT TechZone, a dedicated area designed for mid-stage startups that have launched a product within the past year. It will be located on level two in The Venetian Ballroom.

"The Eureka Park TechZone provides a stage for new companies with technologies for which we don't yet have product categories, to market their innovation to venture capitalists, media and buyers. 2014 CES will also witness another first - the Academia Tech TechZone, which will be floored within Eureka Park. Academia Tech will focus on the unique technologies coming from colleges and universities. It will showcase a collection of academic institutions at the 2014 CES, with Columbia University, N.C. State, University of Texas at Austin and Penn State University already confirmed as exhibitors.

The 2014 CES will take place from January 7 through 10, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will witness more than 3,200 exhibitors unveiling the latest products and services across the entire ecosystem of consumer technologies.
