It's hard out there for a Sim. The threat of offending your neighbor with your jokes, not making it to the toilet in time and being eaten by your cowplant are very real.

Sims have feelings too, you know. Well, simulated ones. Still, they deserve to escape from their stressful lives every once in a while, don't you think? Now, they can take a load off with The Sims 4 Spa Day Game Pack, available for download Tuesday.

As the title of this game pack suggests, The Sims 4 Spa Day introduces a new type of venue, the spa, to the game. There are three different spas of various styles and specialties as well as a gym to incorporate into your gameplay. Of course, if none of these tickle your fancy, you can also make your own.

With these new venues comes everything a Sim would ever want to get some zen. There are a ton of new spa-related activities in which Sims can take part, such as practicing yoga, giving or receiving massages and meditating. There are also many new objects to help Sims sit back and relax, such as a sauna, mud bath and massage table, as well as a whole wardrobe full of new outfits that would please yogis and spa-goers alike.

The Sims 4 Spa Day Game Pack also introduces a new Wellness skill into the game, and as Sims become more skilled, they will be able to hold that yoga pose with ease, be a master masseuse and even have the ability to levitate and eventually teleport. Now, that's a transcendent experience, if you ask me.

Nearly all of The Sims 4 Spa Day Game Pack items and actions exist outside of the spa, too, in case your Sim would like to live in the lap of luxury 24/7.

On Tuesday, Electronic Arts released a new trailer for the game pack that shows The Sims 4 Spa Day Game Pack in action. In it, Sims nourish their minds, bodies and souls by getting cucumber facials and trying not to die of heatstroke in the sauna.

Apparently, even the most relaxing place on Earth can still be stressful for Sims. They just can't get a break, can they?
