Leaksfly posted certain information about the LG G Pad 8.3 successor on his account on social network Weibo, with the device being rumored to be name the LG G Pad 2.

Expected specifications for the LG G Pad 2 include a screen measuring 8.3 inches with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. The tablet is also said to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 processor, with a quad-core CPU and Adreno 420 GPU. The device is also said to have an expandable memory of up to 32GB.

The LG G Pad 2 is also rumored to have an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It is also expected that the device will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop pre-installed.

The expected release of the LG G pad 2 is within the month of October. However, the price at which the device will be sold and the exact date and region where the tablet will be launched has not yet been determined.

None of the information that was leaked by Leaksfly has been officially confirmed by LG, and as such these specifications should not be considered as true until the Korean manufacturer confirms them as such.

LG has also recently revealed the LG G4 Beat, named as the LG G4s in certain markets, which is a mid-range device with decent specifications and a competitive price.

The LG G4 Beat has similar aesthetics with the company's current flagship device, the LG G4. Its screen is a bit smaller compared to the 5.5-inch screen of the LG G4 though, as the LG G4 Beat only has a 5.2-inch screen.

Loyal fans of the Korean device company could possibly notice that the LG G4 Beat is actually very similar to the LG G2, which is the company's flagship device from about a few years ago.

The LG G4 Beat packs a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. The smartphone also packs 8GB worth of eMMC storage space, and features an 8MP camera that is upgraded to a 13MP camera for the version of the smartphone that will be released in Latin America.
