Hawkman is coming to Legends of Tomorrow, ladies and gentlemen, but first he will appear in The Flash and Arrow.

According to the latest report from Entertainment Weekly, Hawkman, who is also known as Carter Hall, could spread his wings first in The Flash and Arrow before making his big appearance in Legends of Tomorrow.

We doubt he'll have a huge presence outside of Legends of Tomorrow, but that doesn't matter since we're so excited to see what the character is capable of doing.

The report went on to claim that Hawkman in CW's own little DC Universe will be similar to that of his comic counterpart. It means that he will be a 5,000-year-old man, and despite being reincarnated throughout the years, he is still capable of remembering all his past life experiences.

His female equivalent, Hawkgirl, is a bit of a problem since she is not able to remember her past lives with Hawkman. Yes, you guessed right, both were together, and as expected, he will attempt to walk the difficult path of trying to make her remember.

Now, comic book readers might have issues with this Hawkman since there are a few problems that do not walk hand-in-hand with the comic books. For example, the publication reported that Hawkman is wise beyond his years and that he is also charismatic with a touch of charm and confidence.

From what we've come to know of Hawkman in the comics, he's arrogant and just a natural man's man. Very high tempered and doesn't take talk from anyone, so realize that he might be a calm soul, may ruffle some feathers.

Still, folks should bear in mind that this is the CW, and as such, the writers have to tend to the female and teenage audience. It won't be the first time Arrow and The Flash have botched characters for the sake of television.

The last time we saw Hawkman in a live action series was in Smallville, and boy, his depiction was terrible in similar ways to how many characters in that show were represented. Up to this day, we still can't get the bad taste from our mouths and the horror from our eyes.
