For some fans of The Sims 4, the kitchen is really just a room in the house where Sims can cook and eat food so that they don't die of starvation. And if you're one of those people that gets a kick out of giving your Sims an untimely end, you might not even have a kitchen at all.

Your attitude might change once you take a gander at the new trailer for The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen Stuff pack, which was released Tuesday. The less-than-a-minute-long spot shows off the next-level kitchens that you can cook up for your Sims with this new stuff pack, complete with new furnishings, decor and even outfits. And no, that doesn't just mean aprons and oven mitts.

Even if you don't purchase The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen Stuff, you'll still be able to add a dishwasher into your Sims' homes, thanks to a new free update to the game.

Of course, The Sims 4 Cool Kitchen Stuff also comes with plenty of new objects, too, one of which is an ice cream maker, which seems to be the main attraction of the pack. As you can probably guess, the ice cream maker lets your Sims make ice cream, gelato and soft serve. With 30 flavors and tons of toppings to choose from, your Sims will basically be able to serve up any frozen dessert that they can imagine, some of which can even do some weird stuff to them, such as make them breathe fire or turn them into someone that resembles the Jolly Green Giant.

But whatever you do, just don't drop the ice cream cone. Watch the full trailer below, and you'll see why.
