The Game of Thrones rumors for season six are flying fast and free on the World Wide Web, but this latest piece of season six news comes from none other than Arya herself.

Actress Maisie Williams posted some peculiar images to Instagram recently revolving around "blind contacts."

To those who haven't read George R.R. Martin's book series upon which Game of Thrones is based, Williams' posts might not mean anything. However, for those who have read the books, it seems to confirm an important moment in Arya's story will indeed play out on HBO show.

Spoilers below for A Dance With Dragons and Game of Thrones season five and six!

You have been warned!

Seriously, don't do it if you haven't read the books or watched the season five finale.

In the season five finale of Game of Thrones, Arya is struck by blindness after having used the mask of a Faceless Man to take the life of Meryn Trant. Jaqen H'ghar accuses her of stealing a life from the Many Faced God, saying that the masks are only for people who are nobody. To a person who is somebody, he says, the masks are as good as poison. Arya screams as she begins to lose her sight.

In the books, Arya's blindness is only temporary, and it comes before she kills her first assassination target, not after. In Martin's novels Arya's blindness is caused by the milk she drinks every night at the House of Black and White. She spends her time blind as a beggar girl on the streets, improving her skills of gathering information and detecting lies in people's voices. She eventually regains her sight.

How all of this will play out on the show is still up in the air. Judging from Williams' post, it seems to be that Arya will be blind for at least a portion of season six. Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have shown time and time again that they have no problem deviating from the source material. Events have been rearranged, omitted or thought up entirely in the past, so it still remains unclear for how long Arya will be blind or what events will come after once (if) she regains her sight.

In other Game of Thrones news, a young Ned Stark appears to have been cast to join the show, though for what exactly remains unclear. Game of Thrones season six is expected to premiere in the spring of 2016.
