Ellen Degeneres has found herself in good company as some of the other actors who will lend their voices to the upcoming Finding Dory film were revealed at the D23 expo in Anaheim, CA. The much awaited sequel to the successful Finding Nemo movie will finally answer the question: What was Dory doing all alone in the ocean when she bumped into Marlin and joined him on his quest to find his kidnapped son?

The movie will also reunite Dory with her loved ones an ocean away and will be filled with all the elements that made you fall in love with the first film.

According to Ellen herself, Finding Dory was a long time coming and will be worth all those years of waiting.

"I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I'm not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating 'Toy Story 16.' But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It's got a lot of heart, it's really funny, and the best part is-it's got a lot more Dory," she said.

Opening up the announcement was a filming of a clip from the movie where Dory seems to be disturbed by dreams which she cannot remember - although she recalls that she remembered something. Nemo suggests that she misses her family and her dreams are telling her to journey to Monterey, California - on the other side of the world. Although Marlin cannot go with her on the trip this time, he says with a sigh that, "I know a guy."

Joining Ellen on stage at D23 were her castmates who will form the quirky new characters she will meet on her journey home.

Ed O'Neil who will play a septapus - an octopus who lost one of his legs and tries to convince Dory, in a clip shown at D23, to give him an ID tag that has been attached to one of her fins.

Ty Burrell, a beluga whale who is convinced he has a head injury despite the fact that all belugas have a bump on their head.

Kaitlin Olson who will voice Destiny, a kind-hearted whale shark who is afraid that other fish may not get over the "shark" in her name. Perhaps she will find company with Bruce and his mantra, "Fish are friends, not food."

Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy, who were not on stage, will also lend their talents as Dory's parents. Finding Dory will hit theatres next summer on June 17, 2016.
