Sony is tweaking its premium online gaming subscription service and will be offering two new games every month starting next month.

In a blog post, Sony vice president of platforms marketing John Koller said the PlayStation maker is going to make two new games available for all PlayStation Plus subscribers free of charge on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

"Since we are always looking to continue evolving PS Plus to be a service that really serves our community, we are excited to provide a more balanced set of games introduced each month with PS Plus. As you'll see below, starting in June, members will have access to two titles per month for each of our platforms," Koller said in his blog post.

The games will be available on the PS Plus' Instant Game Collection starting on the first Tuesday of each month until the first Tuesday of the next month. Premium subscribers can access the games simply by going to the online store and clicking the Add to Cart button. When the game says Purchased, players can start playing the game. Koller said players do not have to download the games to be able to play them. As long as they are paying members of PS Plus, they will be able to play the games well into the future long after Sony has stopped offering them as free downloads.

"In the coming weeks, you'll see that several of the titles that have had a nice, long stint in the Instant Game Collection will be phased out, so if you're new to the service and haven't had a chance to download all of the titles available through PS Plus - or if you've been thinking about subscribing but haven't yet - now is the perfect time to get all the great games available with PS Plus," Koller also said.

He also tipped subscribers about the arrival of new games, including the multi-player beta version of "Destiny," "Secret Ponchos" and "Drive Club PS Plus Edition."

For its first month on its new subscription system, PS Plus will offer "Trine 2: Complete Story," a puzzler game set in a fantasy world, and the twin-stick shooter "Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate," which combines shooting and puzzles, for PS4. For PS3, PS Plus will make available the popular basketball simulator "NBA 2K14" and "Thieves of Time," which is a cross-buy that will also be made available for PS Vita owners. The latter will also be able to sink their teeth into "Terraria" and "Mutant Mudds Deluxe."

PlayStation owners can subscribe to PlayStation Plus for $49.99 a year or $9.99 per month.
