Valve has signed a new deal with Adult Swim to bring the popular Rick and Morty to Dota 2 as a new announcer pack.

Rick and Morty, from the namesake animated series from Adult Swim, will bring new flavor to the hit PC game, commenting with mostly unique lines in their uncompromising fashion. For those unfamiliar with the Duo, Rick is an alcoholic scientist and Morty is his troubled grandson, and the comedic animated series revolves around the two characters and their often-dark, always interdimensional adventures. Many find the series similar to Back to the Future in some way, and Rick and Morty's fan base is constantly growing.

The first season of Rick and Morty had 15 episodes and the show recently started airing the second season, gaining even more fans along the way. Both Rick and Morty are voiced by Justin Roiland, the show co-creator. The series is made in collaboration with Dan Harmon, famous for his work on Community.

The new Dota 2 announcer pack, as expected, will feature the same Rick and Morty voices with the same delicious style the characters have in the animated series. The announcer pack has already stirred lots of interest among Dota 2 and Rick and Morty fans, and is expected to further boost the popularity of both the game and the comedy show.

It's worth pointing out, however, that Dota 2 players who want to enjoy this neat new announcer pack will have to pay for the privilege, as the new DLC doesn't come as a free option. The Rick and Morty announcer pack DLC comes with a $7.99 price tag and is available for purchase from the game's store. The pack will replace the "Default" and "Mega-Skills" announcers of Dota 2.

Aside from Rick and Morty, other announcer packs that made their way to Dota 2 include packs that feature the voices from Portal and The Stanley Parable.
