Dota 2 is getting an overhaul and it's all going to be released in the Reborn beta, which will include a new engine, graphics and custom games. Here's everything we know so far about what's in store for the launch of Dota 2 Reborn beta.

The details of the complete overhaul were announed on the official Dota 2 website. We're particularly looking forward to the facelift of everything from the dashboard to the Hero browser and the activity feed to see your friend's achievements in the game.

All of the aesthetics, of course, just take advantage of the brand new engine the game will be played on.

Valve is doing a great job at keeping up the suspense and building the excitement over the new Reborn beta; it is only revealing what updates to expect in increments. Next week, Valve will provide more information on the Custom Games that can be played and the specs on the new engine to follow "later that week," according to reports.

"Today we are announcing the Dota 2 Reborn beta, which brings with it a new interface, new engine and Custom Games. Everything in the dashboard has been redesigned utilizing a new UI framework and the engine that powers the game has been fully replaced. On this page we will be giving you a preview of the new interface. Early next week we'll be talking about Custom Games, and later that week we'll conclude with various details about the new engine and launch the open beta," the website itself states.

Certainly, big and exciting changes are up ahead. Experts are speculating that the Reborn beta will also improve the in-game training for newbies since even though Dota 2, which was originally released back in 2013, was met with mostly positive reveiws, one of the main criticisms of the game was the steep learning curve.

Watch out for the next batch of announcements on the Dota 2 Reborn beta, and make sure to set your countdown on the game's client release as well.
