If you've ever toyed with the idea of getting a new PlayStation 4 sometime soon, now could be the perfect time to lay your money down on Sony's bestselling video game console, as Walmart is currently offering one of the best deals on the gaming system you will probably ever see this year.

Normally, a single 500GB PS4 costs $400, but for the same price, Walmart is offering the console bundled with either one of two very popular titles. The retailer is also throwing in a number of other attractive add-ons to sweeten the offer, while still keeping the price down at the same $400.

Customers who decide to avail of the offer have the choice of choosing between a PS4 bundled with Batman: Arkham Knight or The Last of Us Remastered. That's already one free game that saves gamers anywhere between $50 and $60 in the original prices of the games, but Walmart is also offering a free Madden NFL 16 with the bundle.

That's another $60 in savings for buyers, but if you want to purchase the Madden NFL 16 Ultimate Edition, which includes 36 exclusive Pro Packs featuring past and present NFL superstars and the Playmaker Pack, you will have to add $10 to the entire package, which isn't so bad, considering Walmart offers the standalone Ultimate Edition for $70.

So that's already two free games worth up to $120 in savings, but Walmart's not done yet. The deal also includes one more free title of your choice from nine of the most popular games available for the PS4. Games you can choose from include the following: Assassin's Creed: Unity, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Evolve, The LEGO Movie: Videogame, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Alien: Isolation, Watch Dogs, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition and Sniper Elite III.

And, like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae already oozing with goodies, Walmart throws in an additional three months of PlayStation Plus into the deal, slashing off what is normally a $17 cost. The free membership gives you access to free games every month and exclusive discounts on the PlayStation store. The membership also gives you the ability to update your games in standby and save your games on the cloud, among several other benefits.
