The latest trailer for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 has arrived, with mini-profiles of each professional skateboarder-cum-character, as per the description of the trailer touts that "each pro brings their own unique skating style to the game, so whether you like street, thrasher, vert, ripper or hybrid skating[.]"

Tony Hawk's latest gives fans the option to select one of 10 different characters to play as, ranging from old vets to newer Skaters of the Year. Avatars include Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Lizzie Armanto, Andrew Reynolds, Nyjah Huston and many others.

Many of the skateboarders in the trailer express awe over being in a game for the franchise they played as kids.

"When I was growing up in Colombia, I never thought I was going to be in a Tony Hawk game," says Gonzalez, a pro member of the Flip Skateboards team. After cracking a smile, he says, "Things are going well."

Lizzie Armanto, an X-Games gold medalist, points out that two women are featured in the game, herself and Leticia Bufoni. "The girls are really pushing it!" she rallies enthusiastically.

Despite the slew of new talent, there are still some recognizable faces, even if old standbys like Bam Margera and Steve Caballero are absent from THPS5 this time around.

"I think my player is way better of a skater than me," chuckles Andrew Reynolds, who is not only a prolific skater but a co-founder of Baker Skateboards. This marks his tenth appearance in the franchise.

Also featured is Tony Hawk's son, Riley, a pro skater who has carved his own path.

"It's cool to see the whole evolution of it all," states the younger Hawk.
