For fanatics who have ever toyed with the idea of living the James Bond fantasy – specifically of having a new Aston Martin sports car – this could be the perfect time, as the high-end British brand is now giving customers the chance to own the limited, exclusive DB9 GT Bond Edition.

Reports indicate that the newest brand will only launch 150 units of the new model, which is based on the recently introduced DB9 GT model. Each unit is priced at £165,000, or around $250,000. The DB9 GT is heralded by car enthusiasts as a model that offers world-class grand touring along with hand-build superiority.

The exclusive Bond edition comes with a stunning Spectre Silver color on the exterior. The model also features unique silver Aston Martin badges located on the rear and on the front — along with the legendary "007" Bond Edition badge.

In a bid to make this edition more elegant and distinctive, Aston included sill plaques on the inside, stitched on the back seat divider, which boast the famed "007" logo. The plaques also include the popular gun barrel.

Additionally, this exclusive Bond Edition comes with a special screen located on its elegant touch-sensitive infotainment system.

Set to hit the roads soon, this Aston model is reportedly powered by a 6-liter V-12. Its exceptional 540 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque also allow the car to sprint 60 mph in only 4.4 seconds, making it one of quickest cars in its segment.

"In the run-up to the launch of the new film, Spectre, which sees Bond behind the wheel of the DB10, we are very happy to be able to celebrate the partnership with this superb limited edition DB9 GT collector's item," said Dr. Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin.

He added that he is certain the 150 customers across the globe who will succeed in having one of these luxurious cars will be stunned in seeing the film Spectre, which is slated for release before the year ends.

The company announced that DB9 GT Bond Edition is now ready to buy in markets worldwide from September 2.

Back in 1964, an Aston Martin DB5 was featured in Goldfinger.
