Liberty Ross is giving herself a second chance at love and moving on after her divorce from English film director Rupert Sanders. The British model and actress is now engaged to music producer Jimmy Iovine.

The couple was first talked about in February 2013. Ross' divorce, however, was finalized in May 2014.

Ross, 36, has two children with ex-husband Sanders while Iovine, 62, has four children from a previous marriage to American model Vicki McCarty.

In July 2012, 44-year-old Sanders was caught on camera hugging and kissing actress Kristen Stewart, who is known for her role as Bella Swan in the popular film series Twilight. Stewart also starred in the film Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) where she played the role of Snow White. The film was directed by Sanders.

"It was horrible," said Ross after she learned about the scandal between then-husband Sanders and Stewart. "It was really the worst, really the worst."

At the time of the scandal, Stewart was still dating Robert Pattinson, her costar in Twilight. She initially reconciled with Pattinson, although the relationship eventually ended after the conclusion of the movie franchise.

Ross has ultimately moved past the scandal and opened up to Harper's Bazaar on her thoughts about the incident.

"People need to learn to forgive. I have no problem with anyone involved. I'm completely compassionate, I really am. No life is perfect. We all have our problems and issues and I believe that it's good to be true to who you are," she said.

While Sanders had apologized and wanted to reconcile with Ross, the latter felt their marriage had already come to an end. She believed filing for divorce was best for both of them.

The scandal also prompted Ross' brother, Atticus Ross, an Oscar-winning composer, to reach out to music executive and American Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine. Iovine reportedly helped Ross in finding a PR expert who could handle the media circus.

"I have no words to describe what we went through," said Ross. "But I think, for me, something always has to completely die for there to be a rebirth. And, for me, I feel like I'm going through a rebirth."
