The iPad Pro will be featuring a massive 12.9-inch screen along with four speakers, as confirmed by renders of the tablet that have been leaked.

The renders are based on the detailed blueprints of the tablet that have been sent to third-party manufacturers of accessories before the official launch of the iPad Pro. The plans are used by the companies to jump start development and production of compatible accessories for upcoming devices.

The renders were sourced by Steve Hemmerstoffer, more popularly known as prolific leaker OnLeaks, from nowhereelse.fr on behalf of uSwitch.

Two designs are featured in the renders, with one being based on blueprints dated December 2014 and the more recent one being based on blueprints dated June of this year.

There are certain differences between the two designs, and uSwitch said that it could not say for sure which one is the definitive plan. However, given some specifications and features that are shared on both designs, these can be more or less confirmed.

The first thing that stands out is the 12.9-inch screen of the iPad Pro that has been the subject of rumors for months. There will also be four single raw speakers for the tablet, along with a headphone jack at the device's top edge.

If the December 2014 plans are the real design, then the volume buttons will be similar to those of the recent but smaller iPad models, along with a microphone in place of a lock switch and the second microphone located near the rear-facing camera. The December 2014 design features measurements of 305.7 mm x x222.6 mm x 7.2mm.

The difference with the June plans is that the newer design features a lock switch, a power button located on the tablet's top edge, a pair of microphones at the center of the device at the top edge and top of the back, and a headphone hack located at the top edge. The measurements for this version are 305.7 mm x 222.8 mm x 8 mm.

It should be noted, however, that neither design features a stylus slot, as the iPad Pro is said to be coming with the accessory. However, this does not mean that the iPad Pro will not come with a stylus though, as the design could have been added at a later time.

Mobile news website GSM Arena also noted that both variants of the iPad Pro's design makes sense, as the older plans feature new control designs, while the additional thickness of the newer plans could be due to the addition of Force Touch technology to the tablet.

Users will not have to wait long before finding out all about the iPad Pro though, as the tablet is expected to be unveiled in Apple's upcoming Sept. 9 event.
