It looks like Superman is crashing Batman: Arkham Knight — via video game mod.

A video preview has been released featuring a be-suited Clark Kent looking onward to the horizon – and at the cusp of Gotham City itself – in the third installation of Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive's Batman: Arkham franchise (we're not counting Origins for right now).

The minute-long trailer features what looks like a silhouetted figure appearing to free-fall off a cliff — and then soaring into a dawning sun.

The video closes with a riff on the most popular Superman-related catchphrase of all time: "Don't be a plane... don't be a bird... be the Superman."

While there is no official news on any Superman game coming out in the near future, we imagined what it would be like if Rocksteady actually did create a game based on the Man of Steel. Unfortunately for right now, this mod – and our own imagination – is all we have.
