Tumblr is no longer just a social sharing and networking platform; it is now a clothing line as well. Tumblr has announced its own clothing endeavor, showcasing sweaters, dresses, shirts, accessories, and many other items which boast of the images made by renowned Tumblr artists.

Fashion-forward customers will be wearing clothes designed by Tumblr's most popular bloggers, including Brian Vu, Andrew B. Myers, John Karel, John McLaughlin, Lauren Pelc-McArthur, Luca Mainini, Monica Ramos, and more.

The newly announced clothing line is in celebration of Tumblr's tenth year of involvement in the New York Fashion Week. Tumblr's fashion evangelist Valentine Uhovski is the one who revealed the news to the press.

"We wanted every look to feel like a Tumblr post," said Valentine Uhovski, a Tumblr fashion evangelist. "When you enter the pop-up shop, you'll feel like you're inside of a Tumblr dashboard."

Tumblr announced that people can start buying its items beginning on Sept. 14 through  the website of Print All Over Me. PAOM calls itself an "an online platform for real world collaboration and creation." Additionally, people in New York City can buy some of its products at 339 West 38th Street from Sep. 11 to 13. Price tags of the items range from $30 to $250.

"So Tumblr used an image I made and designed several clothing articles for New York Fashion Week," said Myers on his official Tumblr blog site.

The garments are created both for men and women. Apart from dresses, people can also buy backpacks, raincoats, and even kimonos featuring the colorful designs that characterize Tumblr blog posts.

In June, we reported that Tumblr launched Tumblr TV, a website offering its users an endless stream of full-screen GIFs for their pleasure. This website, according to the report, is equipped with a complete GIF player. One of the interesting features of Tumblr TV is that users can choose to skip to the next GIF. Users can also go back to the last GIF or can pause it. In a sense, Tumblr TV is a media player for GIFs.
