Just imagine Jason Bourne hiding out somewhere in the woods, only to find out that Batman has located his position. Both men are not going to run away, so who would win?

Jason Bourne actor, Matt Damon, made it clear when asked, that his alter-ego would undoubtedly give Batman a sound beating of the ages. This might not go down well with fans of the Caped Crusader, who believes Batman is capable of defeating anyone, at least with a bit of prep time.

"Jason Bourne would kick the s--t out of Batman-absolutely!" Damon told E! News at the Toronto International Film Festival, adding, "Batman's gotta take on Superman first. If he could beat him then maybe he could take on Jason Bourne."

That's some harsh words coming from Matt Damon, but is he correct?

Well, in some ways he is. Jason Bourne could wipe the floor with all the cinematic Batman characters over the years. None of them have actually shown what the Caped Crusader is capable of with their basic fighting styles.

Now, should Jason Bourne go up against a Batman from the comic books, he would get some serious competition.

Of course, good ole Matt Damon is talking about the Batman his best buddy, Ben Affleck, is playing in the 2016 film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

We can't actually determine if Ben Affleck's Batman is a good fighter though the trailer seems to be showing just that. Furthermore, the stunt choreographer of the film stated that they wanted to focus on the fighting skills of this Batman, so he shouldn't be a stiff plank similar to Christian Bale.

If what the stunt choreographer had to say is true, then Matt Damon's take on Jason Bourne would have a difficult time taking down Ben Affleck's take on Batman. Plus, if Batman can go up against the Man of Steel, then what chance does Jason Bourne have?

Maybe he's capable of much more than what the eyes can perceive.
