The WWE Night of Champions (2015) pay-per-view from the Toyota Center in Houston, TX on Sunday night (September 20) came and went ... and what a long night it was for Seth Rollins.

The WWE Superstar had to put both his United States championship and WWE World Heavyweight title on the line in separate, in back-to-back matches against John Cena and Sting, respectively. The Architect came out of the situation going 50-50, but which belt did he lose?

Here, Tech Times runs the WWE Universe through the pay-per-view card and its results. Houston ... we have a problem.

The Cosmic Wasteland Defeats Neville and The Lucha Dragons

Heading into the Night of Champions (2015), Tech Times said this high-flying match should kick off the pay-per-view. However, it aired on the kickoff show instead. There were plenty of quick-paced, exciting sequences in this one, including Neville and the Dragons perfectly timing a springboard moonsault and dives out the ring, respectively. However, Stardust caught Neville in the Queen's Crossbow and got the win for the Cosmic Wasteland.

Kevin Owens Beats Ryback For Intercontinental Title

With two of the biggest, baddest brutes battling each other, this Intercontinental title match didn't disappoint. With all that power and brute force, though, K.O. used skill to finesse his way out of Ryback's Shellshock twice, rolling him up on the second attempt for the victory following a rake to the eyes of the Big Guy. Winner and new IC champ — Kevin Owens.

Dolph Ziggler Edges Rusev

When Summer Rae accidentally threw one of her shoes at Rusev, Dolph Ziggler used the opportune moment to nail the Zig Zag and get the pinfall on his rival in their grudge match. Take that, Bulgarian Brute!

The New Day Retains Tag Team Championship Against The Dudley Boyz

Xavier Woods left his mark all over this match. Forget that he played the Rocky theme on his trombone, Woods broke up a pin following the Dudleys nailing the 3D on his teammates, paving the way for The New Day to remain tag team champs via disqualification. It wasn't all good for Xavier, though, as he was put through a table on the receiving end of a 3D himself. That's got to hurt.

Charlotte Gets Past Nikki Bella For Divas Title

Winning the Divas title is already a dream come true. However, clinching the gold and getting to strut around the ring with dad and Hall of Famer Ric Flair — the way Charlotte got to do Sunday night — is the very epitome of what dreams are made of. Nice moment.

The Wyatt Family Beats Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Chris Jericho

Entering this six-man tag match, Kane and even the Rock were rumored to join Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns as their mystery partner. However, to the shock of everyone, it turned out to be none other than Chris Jericho. Jericho more than made his presence felt — or not felt — by blind-tagging himself into the match as Reigns, who was on a roll, was setting up for the Spear. Instead, Jericho lost the match for his team by passing out to a standing triangle choke from Braun Strowman. Afterward, he angrily shouldered past Reigns and Ambrose before they got a chance to confront him. Does this mean Jericho is back for good? If so, he's definitely back to being the heel everyone loves to hate.

John Cena Defeats Seth Rollins For United States Championship

Ever since losing the United States championship to Seth Rollins via a little help from Jon Stewart last month, John Cena was hellbent on winning back his strap. Well, Cena made the most of his opportunity Sunday night, scoring a top rope guillotine legdrop and nailing the Attitude Adjustment to get the one, two, three. After the match, Cena delivered another AA on Rollins on the outside as Rollins attempted to ditch his subsequent WWE World title match. Arguably the best match of the night.

Seth Rollins Pins Sting to Retain WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Despite trying to weasel his way out of the Toyota Center following his loss to Cena, Rollins stuck around and received more pain from Sting in their WWE World Heavyweight championship match. The bout had everything, from Sting delivering a Stinger Splash outside of the ring and Sting pushing Rollins off the top turnbuckle against the fan barricade. However, when he tried to apply his Scorpion Deathlock submission hold, Rollins reversed it and turned it into a roll-up pinfall. So, Rollins lost the U.S. title but kept hold of the WWE Word Heavyweight strap. He'll take it.

What Rollins didn't expect was Sheamus to run in and knock him senseless with the Brogue Kick, that being followed by Kane shocking them with chokeslams on both men and a tombstone for Rollins. Is a Kane vs. Rollins feud on deck?
