The fall season has officially kicked off, meaning there were lots of new series premiering in September like The Muppets, Scream Queens and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. However, now that the month is coming to end, we couldn't be more excited for what the month of October has in store for us.
One of our favorite premium cable networks, HBO didn't leave us disappointed this month, with new episodes of Doll & Em (and movies like Exodus: Gods and Kings), but this month brings with it brand new episodes of The Leftovers when Season 2 premieres on Oct. 4. There will also be new episodes of Project Greenlight after Season 4 started last month, and of course, some returning favorites like Real Time with Bill Maher and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
While HBO aired the documentary Ferrell Takes the Field, starring funny man Will Ferrel in September, sports fans definitely have lots to look forward to in October with boxing marches Golovkin vs. Fury and Lemieux vs. Jean later in the month.
Of course, HBO is known for its movies, and films like like Focus, Taken 3 and The Purge: Anarchy will will debut on the cable network this month.
