While you certainly might own a Bluetooth speaker and a football, odds are you don't own both of them in one product. The new B.R.O. (Bring Rhythm Outdoors) Ball, however, has been designed to offer just that.

The creators behind the new device claim that it's the world's first, and while some caution should be exercised around those claims, it certainly seems like it's true, in this case.

Invincible Audio, the company behind the B.R.O. Ball, has taken to Kickstarter to bring it to the masses, and so far, it has raised $26,441 of its $75,000 goal, with 118 people backing the project.

Of course, it doesn't sound like such a great idea considering the fact that a football can get pretty beaten up during a match or when being thrown around. This, however, was considered by the creators of the B.R.O. Ball, who say that it is ultra-durable.

Not only can it be beaten up without any issues, but if you happen to miss a catch or do a bad throw and the device ends up in a pool or lake, users can rest assured that the ball is waterproof, even though it floats.

One of the big problems with Bluetooth speakers is connectivity. While some speakers can only connect up to a few feet away, the B.R.O. Ball can connect to a device up to 50 yards away.

In addition to its durability and connectivity, the B.R.O. Ball has a number of other great features. For example, it charges via USB, making it as easy to charge as a smartphone. If the ball is running out of juice, it can be plugged into your smartphone to give it a boost. The ball is even great for night use and has a glow-in-the-dark outlining.

Those interested in the B.R.O. Ball can head to the Kickstarter page now, with pledges ranging from $1 to $1,499. To buy the actual ball, users will have to pledge at least $59, and other prizes include things like T-shirts and performance sleeves.
