Hipstamatic, the digital photography app for iDevices and Windows Phone, is available for free from the App Store for limited time.

The latest iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus that include improved 12MP cameras started to get in the hands of customers from Sept. 25 and Hipstamatic users can take advantage of the new iPhone camera with the launch of Hipstamatic 300.

The product description of Hipstamatic on the App Store suggests that the app is free for limited time to celebrate the launch of version 300.

"Make your photos as beautiful as your life and become part of the world's most creative community, exclusively on iPhone," per the product description of Hipstamatic on the App Store.

The app also includes ProMode that gives users greater control. The mode brings controls for white balance, shutter speed, manual focus, aspect ratio, exposure and ISO.

The update also brings a Darkroom suite which has a number of tools for photo editing. Users can add vignettes, adjust color, add grain and adjust exposure and clarity to images.

The app previously allowed users to shoot square photographs, now a number of formats will be available to users.

The latest Hipstamatic update allows users to work with full resolution and also benefit from iPhone 6s' and iPhone 6s Plus' 3D Touch. Users can lightly press an image to get peek at a larger preview. Pressing slightly harder on the image makes it to pop up directly in the editing mode.

Many users have praised the new update on the App Store.

"The upgrade just plain rocks. Here's the scoop: you can do all the stuff you used to be able to do in Classic mode," commented a user on the App Store. "PLUS you can now tweak your lenses and films after taking your shot. Don't like the combo you picked for an otherwise rad shot? Now you can change it out. BOOM. I won't go into the other cool new features, but I will say that I'm pretty jazzed about this upgrade."

The Hipstamatic app weighs just over 66MB and needs iOS 8.0 or later. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The Hipstamatic app is also available in a number languages including English, Traditional Chinese, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Indonesian, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and more.
