Not too long ago, Mercedes-Benz rolled out the W176 A-Class along with the revamped B-class which went through facelifts. Now, it seems the automaker is getting ready to unwrap its facelifted CLA Coupe and the CLA Shooting Brake.

Spy photos of the CLA duo recently surfaced on the web, hinting a few minor alterations.

Both of these models have been captured by spy cameras hitting the roads in Germany which were appeared to be going through some road tests.

However, based on the leaked images, some areas were masked from public view, such as the headlamps and lower bumper on the front end of the CLA duo plus the tail lights.

These two models are rumored to receive a modification on the front and rear bumpers, as suggested by the masks.

Mercedes-benz fanatics should expect the CLA duo to tout High Performance LED front headlamps, much like what was seen on the A-Class.

What's also recognizable on both models is they sport five-twin-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels.

The sides of the compact cars were not covered and looked unrevised.

Engine-wise, customers should be expecting more efficient engines with reduced CO2, the same as the updated A-Class. It is said that engines of these models will be carried over from the renewed A-Class.

Meanwhile, among the upgrades to the interior of these compact cars include the enhanced steering wheel, new adjustable seats and a refreshed infotainment system which boasts an 8-inch display.

It is also worth noting that these two will reportedly provide support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

With Apple CarPlay, car owners can get directions, send and receive messages, make calls and listen to music by using iPhone. This functionality works with the iPhone 5 or later and with iOS 8.4 or later.

Honda's new 2016 Civic Sedan is also compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

A report indicates the two facelifted CLA cars will be unveiled in March 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show.

In the meantime, we reported earlier that Mercedes-Benz is also working on its F015 Prototype which is equipped a no-button dashboard that works with a simple hand wave or eye movements. It is also said to be managed with a smartphone app.

Interestingly, the F015 comes with cameras as well as radar sensors that recognize anything around it, exactly like Google's self-driving car.
