Capcom is rolling out beta number 2 for Street Fighter V on Oct. 22 until Oct. 25, unveiling a limited character lineup. But the classic fighting game will come with more exciting features and will be playable on the PC this time.

First and foremost, the game is still in the beta stage, which means that a lot of bugs and issues will likely come up, but Capcom will make sure to put them to good use in fine-tuning the game so that Street Fighter V will be virtually error free when it goes official.

Unlike the first beta, Chun-Li, Ryu, Birdie, Cammy, M. Bison and Nash won't be playable, but the new characters announced before will be selectable. When the beta is up, Necalli, Ken, R. Mika and even Vega, who is sporting a new look, will be selectable. Rashid will be joining the ranks on the second day on Oct. 23, and Karin will be following on the third day on Oct. 24.

Computer gamers will be delighted to know that Street Fighter V supports PC play. The minimum specs to run the game are Intel Core i3-4160 at 3.60 GHz, 6 GB RAM DDR3 and Nvidia GTX 480, and the recommended specs are Intel Core i5-4690k at 3.50 GHz, 8 GB RAM DDR3 and Nvidia GTX 960. But the more notable feature is the PS4 to PC cross-platform play, allowing Street Fighter enthusiasts from different platforms to hold matches and go toe-to-toe against each other.

Also, to get more players to feel the tough competition, Capcom implemented a ranked matchmaking system, letting gamers fight for the number 1 spot and earn the bragging rights as the top ranked Street Fighter player. A player search system will also be implemented so that fighters can study up on high-ranked players and their play styles.

In this beta, players will be able to use Fight Money, which weren't spendable in the previous beta. Take note that Fight Money won't be carried over to the official game.

"This changes as we're testing out the ability to unlock items through fight money. Players can look forward to unlocking titles and maybe even the Kanzuki Estate stage," Peter "ComboFiend" Rosas wrote on Capcom's blog.

Players will have to preorder Street Fighter V to gain beta access. PC users will have to preorder the game on Steam to participate.
