Destiny players looking for a bigger challenge should look forward to Oct. 23, when Bungie will be releasing the hard mode for the King's Fall raid which shipped with Destiny's newest expansion, The Taken King.

The release, which comes one week earlier than originally planned, will be at 10AM Pacific Time.

Bungie is recommending that the hard mode for King's Fall should be taken on by players with about 300 to 320 Light. The loot rewards for the raid will be between 310 and 320, Bungie said.

While the early release of the hard mode for King's Fall is good news for Destiny players, it comes along with bad news. Bungie said that, due to a heavily exploited bug, the Trials of Osiris mode could be delayed.

Trials of Osiris, the three-on-three competitive mode that was released along with the previous House of Wolves expansion, was initially scheduled for its return this weekend to run from Oct. 16 to Oct. 18. However, players have discovered a bug with the Hunter's Nightstalker subclass that could push back the return of Trials of Osiris.

By wearing the exotic helmet Graviton Forfeit, players using the subclass could gain access to unlimited energy to abuse the Shadowshot super move by simply entering the options menu while the timer is active.

"We're going to disable that bug before we invite you to take your next run at a 9-0," Bungie said, adding that it is doing so to prevent the bugged out Nightstalker from wreaking havoc on Destiny's competitive landscape.

A new date for Trials of Osiris, if it indeed does get delayed, has not been revealed.

Bungie also said that it is currently reviewing another subclass, namely the Titan's Sunbreaker, as players have cited concerns that it is overpowered.

"We're looking at the data, as well," Bungie wrote, adding that it is too early to make any promises regarding the Sunbreaker. More details will be revealed, along with any specific actions, once the development team completes its assessment of the player complaints.

The update also included mentions of improvements that are soon coming to Nightfall rewards.
