DraftKings and FanDuel have remained in the headlines, especially this week after Nevada ruled the daily fantasy sites as gambling and the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice announced they're investigating their business model.

Those actions stemmed from last week's news that a DraftKings content manager used insider info to win $350,000 on the rival FanDuel site.

As if the scrutiny of daily fantasy sites, and fantasy sports as a whole, isn't high enough, The Daily Show decided to take a stab over the heated news Thursday, offering up witty commentary, courtesy of Trevor Noah.

The new Daily Show host rolled out with his thoughts by saying that these days you can't turn on your TV without seeing a "zombie, Kardashian or fantasy football ad." He's right.

"Just like meth, these fantasy sites are popular, addictive and getting unwanted attention from the law," Noah said, while discussing the FBI's probe into DraftKings and FanDuel.

"This is crazy. Online fantasy sports betting is an unregulated marketplace that seems to be screwing everyday Americans out of their hard-earned money," he continued.

That's when The Daily Show correspondent Jordan Klepper appeared, humorously explaining the inevitable new fate of a daily fantasy sports player, following this scandal.

"If I can win with all the built-in disadvantages, that's an accomplishment," he said. "And if I lose, it's rigged."

All joking aside, the latest announcements of probing by the likes of the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice could help pave the way for daily fantasy sports and fantasy sports, period, to be federally regulated. Just imagine the awesome commentary Noah will cook up then.
