Subaru is ready to kick off its eighth annual "Share the Love" charity program next month, donating $250 for each new vehicle purchased or leased.

The automaker's "Share the Love" 2015 will start on Nov. 19 and run through Jan. 2. Customers who buy or lease a new Subaru vehicle during this period will get to choose which charity should get the $250 from the automaker. Charity choices include the ASPCA, the National Park Foundation, Meals on Wheels America, the Make-A-Wish Foundation or a hometown charity a local Subaru dealer is willing to support. According to Subaru, the event will represent 642 hometown charities.

Subaru estimates that total contributions could exceed $15 million, factoring in donations from retailers. In total, this would amount to $65 million donated since the program first kicked off eight years ago.

"We at Subaru are tireless in our commitment to supporting the causes that our customers care about," said Alan Bethke, Subaru America's Vice President of Marketing. "The Share the Love program is a tremendous way to give back and do good, and we are proud to add to the $50 million already donated to a host of national and local charities through this initiative."

Here are some details about the four major national charities Subaru is supporting this year with its "Share the Love" 2015 program:

ASPCA

ASPCA has been fighting for nearly 150 years to protect and help animals, providing relief, service and care where needed. The ASPCA has rescued countless animals from abuse, introduced and enforced more humane legislation and supported various animal shelters nationwide. Subaru notes that its "Share the Love" program helped the ASPCA rescue, transport, treat and find adopters for more than 10,000 animals nationwide.

Make-A-Wish

This charitable organization helps fulfill one true wish for children with severe, life-threatening medical conditions. Thanks to the support and donations from Subaru's "Share the Love" program, Make-A-Wish granted the wishes of more than 880 kids battling life-threatening conditions.

Meals on Wheels America

This leading national program aims to fight hunger and isolation among America's homebound seniors. Through Meals on Wheels America, those in need get not only proper meals, but also safety checks and friendly visits. Subaru helped deliver nearly 1.24 million meals to seniors through its "Share the Love" program.

National Park Foundation

As the name itself suggests, this national charity aims to protect and help national parks nationwide. Together with the National Park Service, the National Park Foundation offers support, safeguards national parks and inspires people to protect nature. In partnership with Subaru, the National Park Foundation launched a public awareness and education program called "Find Your Park." Subaru's "Share the Love" donations have so far supported essential projects and programs in more than 90 national parks.
