Aston Martin DB10 is the new car featured in the latest James Bond flick that is set to debut in Ireland and in the UK on Monday.

The DB10, according to the company's official site, is exclusively built for Spectre, the upcoming James Bond film that features the actor Daniel Craig as the 007 agent. The car was unveiled on the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios in the latter part of 2014.

Built by the company's trusted designers, engineers and craftspeople at its Gaydon headquarters, the DB10 had a limited production of only 10 cars.

"In the same year that we celebrate our 50-year relationship with 007, it seems doubly fitting that today we unveiled this wonderful new sports car created especially for James Bond. I'm incredibly proud of everyone in the team at Gaydon who have brought this special project from concept to reality." Dr. Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin, proudly exclaimed

James Bond fans would agree that one of the things that people also look forward to in every 007 film is the type of car that the lead actor is driving. In the novels by Ian Fleming where the movies had been based upon, James Bond was indicated to have driven a Bentley. However, it seemed like he has driven more popular models in the movies which include BMWs, a Lotus Esprit, an AMC Hornet and a Toyota 2000GT sports car.

Among all these models, it is the Aston Martin brand which has so far become the most remembered name when one talks about a James Bond film. One of the company's model cars, the DB5, has even reappeared in "Skyfall," the precedent of the upcoming "Spectre." The new film is slated to hit the U.S. theatres on Nov. 6.

Compared to past James Bond movies, "Spectre" will be unique in the sense that the two main cars that it features are created exclusively for the movie and will not be commercially available.

"This is the first time we created a car that was completely bespoke for Bond," said David Adams, a spokesperson for Aston Martin.

In other words, the Aston Martin DB10 (James Bond's car) and the Jaguar C-X75 (the villain's car) will not be up for sale.

The company plans to auction off one DB10 in 2016. The auction is perfect for die-hard James Bond fans who are keen on having a piece from the popular movie but are not keen on driving it on the road. Since the car will not have the required road certifications to qualify it to be road-ready, the successful bidder will simply add the iconic car to one's collection as a "unique" home display.

Other information such as the starting bid price for the DB10 and the auction's location are yet to be disclosed.
