A new James Bond film isn't complete without a spanking new Aston Martin.

In a new behind the scenes video unleashed by the British carmaker Thursday (October 1), fans get to see the new Aston Martin DB10 rip and roar in action in the upcoming Bond film, Spectre.

"Aston had designed the car specifically for the film, so we're just incredibly fortunate," Bond himself, Daniel Craig says in the clip. "It's unique and it feels right and it looks like a James Bond car and its got a few secrets."

The car's sleek, pristine looks and revving engine aren't its secrets, as they're heart-pounding and in the flesh via this clip.

Neil Layton, the film's action vehicles technical coordinator, explains that two DB10s were used to do the drifting and jumping stunt scenes in the film. There were also two DB10s used as gadget cars. Customized specifically for the film, the vehicle's bodywork and interiors were completely changed, as stunt drivers mashed the dash, pushing the supercars to their absolute limits for Spectre.

And of course, a Bond film needs a high-speed chase—something that the DB10 seems to handle in stride, twisting and turning its way through roads, as 007 steers his way out of trouble from a pursuing enemy. After all, the high-speed chase is a crucial component to any good Bond film.

November 6, the release date for Spectre, couldn't come around faster...unless of course, it was being driven by Bond in his Aston Martin DB10.
