The K4 Note, the go-to choice of affordable smartphones from Lenovo, can now be purchased at Amazon India without registration.

Previously, fans of the device could only get it in flash sales. Luckily for them, the unwieldy registration process was scraped so they can get easier access to the K4 Note.

The only caveat is that the open sale will last only as long as the current stock does. In case you eyed the K4 Note, go to Amazon India now and make sure you order it.

Since the launch of the handset in January 2015, Lenovo saw 1.1 million users registered for the device and 180,000 K4 Note sales.

The Lenovo K4 Note sells at a price of Rs11,999 ($177), and the manufacturer packed it with technology that brings bang to the buck. A pleasant surprise comes from the price point, which is lower than the sum initially purported.

In terms of specs, the Lenovo K4 Note has a 5.5-inch full HD, IPS screen capable of displaying resolutions of 1920x1080p. To ensure the flawless graphics, Lenovo equipped the K4 Note with a Mali T720-MP3 able to offer up to 450 Mhz 3D graphics acceleration. Lenovo says the device also sports compatibility with a VR headset for enhanced media experience.

The screen stands behind a layer of scratch-resistant, Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The processing power of the K4 Note relies on a 64-bit class MediaTek eight-core processor backed by 3 GB DDR3 RAM. This ensures that you can experience smooth entertainment on the go. The standard storage capacity is of 16 GB, but the device features a microSD slot that allows memory expansion up to 144 GB.

The camera combo is made of a 13-megapixel rear main camera and a 5-megapixel frontal snapper for selfies. The OEM equipped the handset with a strong 3,300 mAh battery, a definite improvement over the 2,900 mAh battery from the previous version of the smartphone.

When it comes to features, K4 Note's security is guaranteed by a fingerprint sensor and NFC1.

Looking at the connectivity options, the phone supports from 2G to 4G networks, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. GPS, Radio and the possibility to use two SIM cards are extra reasons to give K4 Note a thought.

Software wise, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The only color option available for the affordable smartphone is Tuxedo Black.

If the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note catches your attention, remember that the open sale is a limited time offer that may not last for much longer.
