Microsoft rolled out the latest update to the Xbox One last week, and the add-on brought a myriad of fixes and a slew of enhancements.

The size of the update is a full half GB, containing the Universal Movies and TV app, alongside other features. Worthy of note is the Xbox Universal Store - with a "coming soon" section that can be accessed directly in the Store.

Microsoft also polished up Microsoft Edge, EA access, Narrator, OneDrive, Xbox Avatars and more.

Now, the company recently announced that an Xbox One Preview update is ready for users, and it too comes with many important fixes.

If Windows Central's report is to be believed, the new update will be ready for download on July 6, at 1:00 a.m. PDT. As with all updates, you can check for its availability and install it manually.

Take a look at the full list of fixes for the Xbox One Preview program below.

- An issue where "My Games and Apps" launched incorrectly was resolved

- Record and localization fixes (Cortana)

- A fix addressing apps and games being out of order and games' sizes showing incorrectly (Narrator)

- Fixed a crash that occurred when users tried to change their Payment instrument (Store)

- Pins reverting to Previous locations is fixed

- A localization fix was added: German fix for Sharing on Xbox Live

- The incorrect battery icon bug was fixed

Keep in mind that the latest update did leave a few issue unresolved. Check out the full list below.

- Despite the network connection being fine, Cortana sometimes reports a slow network connection.

- A bug where Cortana freezes during the "Warming up..." stage persists.

- When you first start an app, See-It-Say-It occasionally fails to turn on. However, if you use a voice command from within the app, it will start normally.

- Cortana may become unresponsive in the rare case that you say "Hey Cortana" on the Home dashboard, while you have a minimized game in the main tile.

The Xbox One Preview Program offers players the chance to test out new features of the console before the rest of the players.

Last year, Microsoft reduced the number of invitations for enrolling in the program, as it was reportedly closing to "near-capacity" level.

The company tipped its hat towards fans who contributed to identifying bugs and mentioned that it "looks forward to sharing more details on preview opportunities soon."

Back in June, Microsoft launched an Xbox One update that brought Cortana to consoles.
