It seems like everyone is on a quest to become the best Pokémon GO trainer these days, with goals to have the most impressive list of the pocket monsters collected in the augmented reality mobile game.

However, there are two types of players that have been addicted to the latest gaming craze: those previously familiar with the franchise and newbies. Regardless of which category a player falls into, it's always good to have a handy Pokédex on deck to help you either remember or learn something new about the newest addition you just caught.

Now, users can get all their Pokémon questions answered when on their smartphones while walking to the next PokéStop, thanks to this genius bot for Facebook Messenger.

Created by Paris-based artificial intelligence startup Recast.AI, Pokébot is a smart chatbot that knows just about everything related to the X and Y universes of Pokémon.

Users can check out Pokébot on Facebook for the desktop or on mobile and click on "message" to initiate a conversation. The user can then ask the bot about a specific Pokémon character, including its stats, moves, info regarding a specific move and the strength and weakness of a Pokémon.

Pokébot will also inform users about random Pokémon of a specific type, along with the family tree of a specific type and their evolutions.

Once a Facebook user messages the bot, it will give them instructions on how to start finding information, such as by asking about a specific type of Pokémon. Pokébot will then bring up the type of Pokémon that character is, details about it and the ability to learn more about it, such as its moves, including the accuracy and further statistics.

The bot can understand natural language, so the user can talk to it just like they would to their most knowledgeable Pokémon-loving friends.

Also, since it's a bot, it will continue to evolve and learn over time, so users can tell Pokébot if there is something else they want it to learn.

Whether a gamer is playing old Pokémon games on their Gameboy Color or Pokémon GO, Pokébot allows them to have a personal Pokédex right in their pocket at all times.
