Apple's WWDC 22 event announced a new update that is coming for electric vehicles, and it aims to go beyond infotainment or car radio systems to the display for drivers. The new ecosystem for drivers will help in getting more data and information on their cars from their smartphones, and it would integrate the feature more via CarPlay. 

CarPlay is getting an upgrade and it will be the next-generation version that will put its displays on the screens so that drivers will see more on their drives. Most electric vehicles have an interactive and expanded display on their speedometers, with informative data available here.
