Nintendo's Amiibo figures are absolutely huge in the gaming world right now. It may have started with the more than two dozen Super Smash Bros. interactive figures, but there are sure to be dozens more in the future as Nintendo expands its Amiibo offerings. Keeping track of which Amiibo are available, what games each figure works in and what they do is more than a little confusing.

That's exactly where this guide comes in. Below you will find a full list of Amiibo currently available and upcoming, along with which games they are compatible with and what extra features they unlock.

Keep in mind that each Amiibo figure can only host save data for one game at a time. Some games save data to the figure, while others simply read from it.

For example, if you plan to train your Mario Amiibo in Super Smash Bros. but also want to use Mario in Mario Party 10 to unlock new boards and items, your Smash Bros. save data will be saved over and your trained Amiibo lost. That is because both games save data to the figure.

However, if you wanted to use your Mario Amiibo in Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 to unlock costumes for your Mii, you can do so without fear of losing your Smash Bros. data, as Mario Kart only reads from the figure rather than saving.

Confused yet? For a quick reference guide as to whether a game does or does not save data to a particular figure, check out this chart from Nintendo. So far both versions of Super Smash Bros. and Mario Party 10 are the only games to save data to the figure. In Mario Party's case only specific figures save data.

With all that out of the way, let's dive in.
