Steve and Alex are coming as physical figures as Nintendo creates amiibo for the Minecraft characters, part of its Super Smash Bros. arcade fighting game.

Nintendo of America announced its latest set of amiibo coming to the public, offering the physical figures from the company that also provides exclusive in-game content. The new set of amiibo comes in the form of Steve and Alex, the two characters from "Minecraft" who also joined the famous arcade fighting game, "Super Smash Bros."

The post shows Steve and Alex in their classic looks, with Steve featuring his brown hair, goatee, caucasian skin, teal shirt, and black pants, standing firm in his pixel glory. The same goes for Alex, who is the female counterpart of Steve, that roams around the "Minecraft" world to craft, create, and survive in the game.

Nintendo said that the amiibos are coming by September 9.

Where to Buy the Nintendo Minecraft amiibo

Nintendo said to anticipate its release on the amiibo landing website, and it would offer the collectible figures on sale come September 9. It adds to the massive lineup of amiibo figures that it has available for all, focusing on the famous "Super Smash Bros." DLC characters from Mojang and Microsoft.

The last amiibo release from Nintendo was in October last year, with Samus from the famous title "Metroid."

Nintendo's amiibo and 'Minecraft'

Nintendo's amiibo figures have been famous for a long time now, and it brought several well-known characters from the Japanese developer's games. Some of the prominent amiibo figures in the past include that of Mario, Kirby, "Final Fantasy's" Cloud Strife, "Street Fighter's" Ryu, and other known names in the pop culture industry.

Famous franchises from Nintendo also saw amiibo figures that also bring special features and offers for the gamers in their purchases of the physical collectibles.

"Animal Crossing," "Pokemon" titles, and "Super Smash Bros." characters also received their amiibo figures from the Japanese multimedia company that complements its releases.

It only shows that amiibo is a significant part of Nintendo's releases that bring different experiences to the world, apart from its exclusive in-game content that is only available through the figure. Nintendo Switch users will receive special offers from their amiibo purchases, now featuring the two famous characters from the hit sandbox game.
