On Wednesday, Sept. 8, streaming service Apple TV+ announced that it would soon release a new documentary featuring singer and former Disney actress Selena Gomez.

The new documentary titled "My Mind and Me" does not have a release date yet, but the streaming platform teased fans about what they can expect.

Selena Gomez Documentary

According to 9to5Mac, the Selena Gomez documentary will be directed by Alec Keshishian, who previously made the documentary "Madonna: Truth or Dare."

The documentary will follow the Hollywood star's mental health journey.

Gomez rose to fame as a child star on the Disney Channel after she starred in "Wizards of Waverly Place."

When the show ended, she built up a successful pop music career and currently stars in Hulu's hit series "Only Murderers in the Building," from which she earned an Emmy nomination.

According to Apple Insider, Lighthouse and Interscope Films will produce the documentary, the same studios that produced Billie Eilish's documentary "The World Is A Little Blurry" in 2021.

Selena Gomez's upcoming documentary will join Apple TV+'s growing list of original films.

The other upcoming Apple original movies include "Causeway" starring Jennifer Lawrence, "The Greatest Beer Run Ever" starring Zac Efron, and "Spirited" starring Ryan Reynolds.

AppleTV+ Subscription

Apple launched Apple TV+ in 2019, and since then, the streaming platform has offered fans fresh new shows and movies to watch.

In just three years since its launch, the streaming service has improved with award-winning shows like "Ted Lasso" and Oscar-winning movies like "CODA."

If you wish to sign up for Apple TV+ before the release of Selena Gomez's documentary, you can do so for only $4.99 a month.

You can access all the platform's original movies and TV shows, and you can take advantage of one of the best deals in the world of streaming.

All new Apple TV+ subscribers can get a free seven-day trial before being billed the monthly subscription fee. This is great for those who want to try out the service before committing to the subscription.

You can also bundle your Apple TV+ subscription with a service called AppleOne, which allows you to choose up to six Apple services and add them into a single plan.

The price of the plan will range from $14.95 to $29.95 per month, depending on the services you've selected, according to Cinema Blend.

You can choose from Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, iCloud+, and Apple Fitness+.

If you've purchased an eligible Apple device or are planning to get one in the future, you can get up to three free months of Apple TV+.

You need to go to the Apple TV app on your device within three months of purchasing it and follow the introductions. You won't have to spend extra money to enjoy the streaming service on your new Apple device.

If you own a PlayStation 5, it also has a free three-month Apple TV+ subscription that you can use.

Once the free three months expire, you can choose to continue the service for $4.99 a month.
