Apple to Update the iPad Pro Next Year? Analysts Claim Exciting Things for 2024

Apple has massive plans for the iPad lineup, but it will not be coming this year, as the company would not focus as much on changing things or upgrading the smart tablet for its 2023 versions. However, according to famed Apple analyst Mark Gurman, things will change come 2024, when the popular iPad Pro will see a significant revamp, and new things to expect on the lineup.

For the past years, iPad devices had minimal changes in their looks, designs, and some hardware parts, mostly focusing on its operating system and internals, but that is about to change.

According to the latest Power On Newsletter by Mark Gurman via Bloomberg, 2023 would be a "light year" for the iPad, and he does not expect any major changes for the device. However, there is an upcoming revamp for the iPad Pro coming next year, 2024, and here, the company would put in all the work to introduce an update to the tablet.

Gurman claimed that the next major update for the iPad lineup will arrive by next spring, and it would be by 2024.

However, the analyst did not expand much on what will change with the iPad Pro, but other speculations center on the many updates Apple will give the professional tablet.

Changes on its display, back glass, processor, and more are to be expected says speculators.

9to5 Mac reported that 2024 holds massive things for the iPad Pro and other devices in the lineup, focusing on upgraded hardware and internals. One of the most significant changes for the iPad Pro would be the OLED screen it will soon adopt for its releases and speculations regarding the arrival of the M3 processor to power the large device.

Speculations are pointing out new updates for the iPad lineup, alongside the laptop computers from Apple in the future. Its focus is the change to its display, particularly with an application of the mini LED in-house displays that Apple will deliver to the public soon.

However, it remains unknown when these new devices with company-made displays will arrive, as it remains speculation for now.

There is also uncertainty regarding Apple's releases for this year's iPad, focusing more on simple changes or minor upgrades to the device. This is because of another speculation centering on the iPad's shift in production, where the tablets would move from China to India assembly, following the footsteps of the iPhone.

Many are hinting that this year's iPad will not be as massive in terms of the features and changes that will arrive with the device, and previous speculations also think so, due to the upcoming revamp. The iPad Pro will yet again get another highlight from Apple, as well as new things to change for the entire lineup, but users will have to wait until next year for it.
