Samsung One UI 5.1 Will Launch with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung is preparing to launch the eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy S23 series with One UI 5.1, the company's custom user interface based on Android 13. This interface version promises to bring a range of new features, from improving access to Expert RAW in-camera mode to an easier way to change skin tone in selfies. 

According to the story by Giz China, buyers can also expect battery and weather widgets, a faster initial setup of the phone, different wallpapers for different modes of operation, sharing Samsung Notes, improved pairing options with laptops, and more.

Samsung is preparing to launch its hugely anticipated Galaxy S23 series, complete with an upgraded version of its unique user interface - One UI 5.1. The last few hours have given us a glimpse of what to expect with the changelog released online, with further details revealed in an article by WinFuture

Samsung's One UI 5.1 has been designed based on Android 13 and promises to bring several new features and enhancements, such as faster access to Expert RAW in-camera mode, shared family photo and video albums, improved automatic photo processing, swiping up on photos for detailed information and more, as seen on Sam Mobile

One UI 5.1 to Include DeX Multitasking and Other Function Improvements

In addition, the list also comprises new widgets such as the battery widget, weather widget, and AR Emojis for three people in photos and videos. As for the desktop wallpapers, it also allows buyers to set different ones for every mode of operation. 

Furthermore, One UI 5.1 also brings improved DeX multitasking, better search performance on the native browser, improved user interface for adding people to the sharing list, faster initial smartphone setup, and Bixby text call to name a few.

Camera to Come with the 'AI Restoration' Feature

However, the new features will be offered for a significant number of smartphones, with official support. Samsung officially plans to launch the One UI 5.1 soon, which will be available for many other devices. 

The only exception is the camera's "AI Restoration" function, specifically designed for the Galaxy S23 series. Overall, Samsung's One UI 5.1 looks set to bring a whole host of enhancements and new features, giving users an unprecedented range of usability options. 

Innovations have always been a major part of Samsung's strategy, and it doesn't seem to be any different this time. The company is said to be working on specific improvements and an AI restoration function, which is believed to be exclusive to the S23 series and its camera.
