Google is constantly working to improve its applications for users, and the Contacts app is a perfect example of this. The Highlights tab has recently received an update with a new "For You" section. They are listed with easy-to-use buttons allowing users to wish them a happy birthday. It's worth noting that they need to save their contacts' birthdays in the app to see them in the Highlights tab. 

Interestingly, users cannot set birthday reminders for their contacts on Google Calendar. Nevertheless, the Contacts app makes it easier to keep track of the users' contacts' birthdays, allowing them to wish them happy birthdays even if they forget. 

Also, if there is an overlap in the features with Google Assistant, it can still be a welcome addition. If users want to try out the new feature, they can visit the Play Store on their device to check for any updates for the Contacts app.

There are other ways to check for the update, which the user can easily search for online. With its improved features, the Contacts app is further proving that Google is committed to making its widgets and apps better all the time.
